## Our answer, and the record behind it

Yes. BuyBusinessClass is a US travel agency, and each part of that answer sits on a public record you can open yourself. Here is the record:

- **Office:** [180 North Stetson Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=180+North+Stetson+Avenue%2C+Chicago%2C+IL+60601).
- **Accreditation codes:** [IATA 14531683](https://store.iata.org/ieccacfree) and [TRUE 99910753](https://www.ccra.com/check-true-code).
- **Better Business Bureau:** BBB A+ accredited business; in business since November 2022, per our BBB profile ([open the profile](https://www.bbb.org/us/il/chicago/profile/travel-agency/buybusinessclass-0654-1000049700)).
- **Reviews:** the BuyBusinessClass name has been reviewed on Trustpilot since October 2017, rated 4.8 from 1,687 reviews ([read them](https://www.trustpilot.com/review/buybusinessclass.com)).

The two dates come from two different records, and we show each one exactly as it appears there.

Please do not take this letter’s word for any of it. Each section below shows you how to check one point, and the same checks work on any agency you are comparing with us. None of them takes long, and together they tell you far more than any website can say about itself.

## Five questions travelers ask before they call us

These are five questions worth asking any agency before you pay. Here are our answers, and where you can check each one.

### Is BuyBusinessClass a real, accredited company?

Yes. IATA, the trade association of the world’s airlines, runs an accreditation program for travel agencies. Our IATA code is 14531683, and IATA’s [CheckACode](https://store.iata.org/ieccacfree) tool lets you check an agency code. TRUE is the code behind the travel agency accreditation of CCRA, a travel industry network. Our TRUE code is 99910753, and [Check a TRUE Code](https://www.ccra.com/check-true-code/) looks it up. Our [BBB profile](https://www.bbb.org/us/il/chicago/profile/travel-agency/buybusinessclass-0654-1000049700) shows our rating, our accreditation and how any complaints were answered. Our office is at 180 North Stetson Avenue in Chicago, and our sales and customer service numbers are listed further down this page.

### Is my ticket real, and will the airline have it?

Yes. The airline issues the ticket in your name. Once it is issued, you receive the airline’s e-ticket number, which is 13 digits long, and the airline’s confirmation code. The first three digits of the ticket number name the airline that issued it: 001 is American, 006 is Delta and 016 is United. A booking reference on its own is not a ticket, so ask for the ticket number if you do not have it. The next section shows how to open your booking on the airline’s own website, so you can see your flights and your cabin for yourself.

### Why is your fare lower than the airline’s own website?

Airlines sell some business and first class fares through accredited agencies at prices they do not publish on their own websites. Our agents quote those fares, and they also compare routings and connections a basic search may not show. Our guide explains [what a business class consolidator is](https://buybusinessclass.com/business-class-consolidator) and why these are real airline tickets. A quote can be up to 60% below the airline’s full unrestricted published fare, and an agent confirms the fare for your dates before you pay. Not every trip has a lower fare, and your agent tells you when it does not.

### When am I charged, and what protects my card?

Your agent sends the itinerary and the fare first, and you decide. Pay with a credit card in your own name, charged as a normal card payment. That keeps a federal protection on your side: under Regulation Z, a charge for services not delivered as agreed is a billing error you can dispute in writing with your card issuer, generally within 60 days after the first statement that shows it. Never pay any travel seller by wire transfer, Zelle, gift cards or crypto. Those payments are hard or impossible to reverse.

### What if something goes wrong after I book?

Call customer service at [+1 (855) 955-2040](tel:+18559552040) or message us on [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/12243469633), 24/7, with your booking reference ready. Your agent works with the airline on the options its fare rules allow, such as moving you to another flight, and confirms any cost with you before making a change. If an airline cancels or significantly changes a flight to or from the US and you choose not to travel, US Department of Transportation rules generally entitle you to a refund. Our guide to [flight cancellation refund rights](https://buybusinessclass.com/blog/flight-cancelled-refund-rights) explains what you can ask for and how.

## How to check your ticket on the airline’s website

You do not need to trust us, or any agency, to know your ticket is real. It takes six steps:

1. Find the 13-digit e-ticket number and the airline’s confirmation code in your itinerary email. The confirmation code is usually six letters and numbers.
2. Type the airline’s own web address into your browser yourself, rather than following a link from an email.
3. Open “Manage booking” or “My trips”. Airlines use different names for this page, and most also offer it in their app.
4. Enter the confirmation code and your last name as it appears on the ticket.
5. Check your name as it is on your passport, every flight, the dates and the cabin on each flight. Business class should show on every flight you paid business class for.
6. If anything differs from your itinerary, call customer service before you travel, so it can be fixed with the airline while there is still time.

## How do I check an agency’s IATA code?

Use IATA’s [CheckACode](https://store.iata.org/ieccacfree) tool. Enter the agency’s numeric code and confirm that the result matches the company you are dealing with. The page accepts passenger agency codes of 7 or 8 digits; ours is 14531683. A number that is missing, fails the lookup or belongs to a different business is a reason to stop.

- Type the code yourself from the agency’s website or documents rather than following a link you were sent.
- Check that the name in the result matches the company on your quote and your card statement.
- If an agency gives you a code that does not match, ask why before you pay anything.

## What is a TRUE code, and how do I check it?

A TRUE code is the number behind CCRA’s travel agency accreditation. Anyone can confirm that an accredited agency’s TRUE code is valid: enter it on CCRA’s [Check a TRUE Code](https://www.ccra.com/check-true-code/) page and make sure the result points to the company you are talking to. Ours is 99910753, and it sits beside every quote form on this site. Like an IATA code, it is a number you can check, not a logo you have to trust.

## What do the BBB profile and Trustpilot reviews tell me?

They show how a company treats customers over time. On the Better Business Bureau site, look at the rating, the accreditation date and how complaints were answered; ours reads BBB A+ accredited business. On Trustpilot, read recent and critical reviews, not only the score. We are rated 4.8 from 1,687 reviews there. Links to both are on our [reviews page](https://buybusinessclass.com/reviews), or you can search bbb.org and trustpilot.com for BuyBusinessClass yourself.

When you read reviews of any agency, look for:

- **Volume over time.** Many reviews collected over years mean more than a burst in one month.
- **Recency.** Reviews written in the past few weeks show how the company works now.
- **Detail.** Reviews that describe a specific trip or name the agent who helped are hard to fake at scale.
- **Replies.** How a company answers its negative reviews shows what happens when something goes wrong.

## How can I confirm the office address is real?

Look it up. Our office is at 180 North Stetson Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601. Search the address on a map, check that it is a street address rather than only a PO box, and compare it with the address on the company’s BBB profile. An agency that will not give you a street address is a warning sign.

You can also call. Our sales line is [+1 (888) 322-7999](tel:+18883227999) and customer service is [+1 (855) 955-2040](tel:+18559552040). A real agency has phone lines you can call back, not only a chat window. More about the company is on our [about page](https://buybusinessclass.com/about-us).

## Why should I pay by credit card?

Because federal billing rules give you a way to dispute a charge, as the answer on card payments above explains. Payment methods without that protection should make you cautious:

- **Wire transfers, Zelle and Venmo.** These payments are hard or impossible to reverse.
- **Gift cards and crypto.** No legitimate airline ticket seller should ask for these.

Pay with a card in your own name, charged as a normal card payment, and keep the confirmation.

## What are the red flags with any travel agency?

Pressure, odd payment requests and missing details. Walk away if a seller asks for a wire transfer, gift cards or crypto, cannot give you an airline ticket number after payment, books an award ticket from someone else’s miles account, or cannot provide an accreditation number, a street address and a phone line you can call back.

Two more to watch for:

- **A price far below every other quote** for the same flights and dates, with no clear explanation.
- **Constant urgency,** such as “this price is gone in ten minutes,” meant to stop you from checking anything.

When you are ready, ask for a quote, call [+1 (888) 322-7999](tel:+18883227999) or message an agent on [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/12243469633).
