## Fast track security, explained

At many international airports, a business class boarding pass opens a dedicated security lane, often called fast track or priority security, and sometimes a faster passport control lane too.

In the US, security is run by the TSA. Some airports have premium lanes for business class passengers of certain airlines, but the faster screening most travelers use is TSA PreCheck, which depends on the traveler, not the ticket.

Outside the US, the boarding pass usually shows whether fast track is included, and some airports sell it separately for a small fee to anyone.

### On a business class trip

Leaving London in business class, a traveler uses the fast track lane at security; leaving New York, the TSA PreCheck lane printed on the boarding pass.
