Why business class on a long flight
-
A bed for the long flight
On most long-haul flights from the US, business class seats fold into a flat bed, so you can lie down, raise your legs and sleep on a 10 to 16 hour flight instead of sitting upright.
-
No climbing over a neighbor
Many newer business class cabins give every seat direct access to the aisle, so getting up at night wakes no one. Your agent tells you which aircraft on your route have it.
-
Less waiting, more room to rest
Business class usually includes priority check-in and boarding, and a lounge before the flight with seating, food and restrooms away from the crowded gate.
-
More baggage for a long visit
International business class tickets usually include two checked bags, often up to 70 lb (32 kg) each. Allowances vary by airline, so your agent confirms yours.
What travelers say about their agents
- Sfelcia Google review
I had an excellent experience finding my business class tickets through BuyBusiness.com. The agent who helped me, Oslo Cooper, was honest, professional, and extremely attentive throughout the entire process. Oslo took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable with my options before moving forward. I really appreciated the personal attention and transparency. It made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I’m very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend BuyBusiness.com and Oslo Cooper to anyone looking for help with business class travel. Excellent service from start to finish!

Den Dunn worked with me to get the best price He planned our return trip from Turkeye with an airline that I had no knowledge about. He assured me that Turkish air was great, which they were. He planned our change of planes in Houston, and it was one of the smoothest transitions I have ever had. There was no long lay over. I will definitely be giving him a call the nest time we travel .

Diesel Bond was such a perfect agent. My Visa to Pakistan was extremely hard to do by myself. After 4 months going back forth with submission I was totally worn out. I had never used agency before and will never go back to doing myself! Your agency gave me such peace of mind! Will refer you to everyone! Charles Robards

I have worked with Kate Morris several times in the past couple of years...and she is now on her game more than ever. She knows what I want and she works hard to find it. She has great patience with me as my plans can change quickly. This last interaction was incredibly smooth and professional. Well done, Kate.

Lana is beyond perfection. She doesn't quit until it's right.
Help at the airport is free if you need it
Under the US Air Carrier Access Act, airlines must give passengers with a disability, including difficulty walking long distances, free wheelchair assistance and help boarding, getting off the plane and connecting. This applies on US airlines, and on foreign airlines on flights to or from the US. EU rules require free help at EU airports for anyone whose mobility is reduced, including by age. Ask your agent to request it for every flight when you book, so each airline is ready for you.
- A wheelchair from check-in to the gate, and from the plane to baggage claim
- Help through security and with connections
- Early boarding if you need extra time to settle in
One real person, start to finish
Tell an agent where and when you want to go, by phone, WhatsApp or the form. The agent compares airlines and routings, explains the options in plain words, and books the option you choose. You pay by card, and you get an airline e-ticket number you can check on the airline’s website.
Before you fly
- Check that your passport is valid for at least six months after your trip; many countries require it.
- Apply early for any visa or electronic travel authorization your destination needs.
- Consider travel insurance with medical cover. If you have Medicare, it generally does not pay for care outside the US.
- Keep medications in your carry-on, in their original containers, with a copy of your prescriptions.
- If you use a portable oxygen concentrator, tell your agent the make and model: it must meet the airline’s rules for use on board, and the airline may ask for a doctor’s statement and enough batteries for the whole flight.
Business class for seniors: questions
Do airlines offer senior discounts on business class?
Few airlines publish senior fares today, and the ones that exist are rarely for international business class. Our agents look for the lowest business class fare available for your dates, regardless of age.
Is wheelchair assistance free?
Yes, if you need it. Under the US Air Carrier Access Act, airlines provide free wheelchair assistance and help boarding, getting off the plane and connecting to passengers with a disability, including difficulty walking, on US airlines and on foreign airlines’ flights to or from the US. Ask your agent to request it for every flight.
Can I book by phone instead of online?
Yes. Agents answer at +1 (888) 322-7999 24/7, and you can also message an agent on WhatsApp.
Which business class seat is best for sleeping?
A seat that folds flat with direct aisle access, on a newer aircraft. It differs by airline and aircraft, so your agent tells you which flights on your route have it before you book.
Can my children book the trip for me?
Yes. A family member can request and pay for the trip, and the ticket is issued in your name exactly as it appears on your passport. Our guide to booking for someone else explains the details.
